![]() ![]() Here's a nice write up by Stealthy Blagga on Argentine PAM-2 mags. I didn't do anything to mine except replace the springs with Uzi springs for ease of loading, (they're STILL difficult to load), and they have all run fine in my M11/9 even with a MAC-Jack at 1800RPM. Last I heard, Jerry Prasser/Recon Ordnance was getting about $35.00 per magazine, but it's a life time mag, not a plastic/Zytel throwaway. The converted Argentine PAM-2 magazines are generally considered the best aftermarket steel mags although some are not with out issues of their own. ![]() If you think the Zytel mags are tough to load, wait until you try loading a STEn magazine! The factory Zytel magazines are actually the easiest of all the M11/9 mags to load, but you still need the factory loading tool to prevent bleeding fingers. The problem you're describing is from the single feed mags which is also the case with STEn mags too. (290.00) Sam Snyder of Practical Solutions is your guy for the M11/9 STEn conversion. Expect to pay almost what your semi auto gun cost for the STEn mag conversion. STEn mags are not only larger in diameter, they're a different shape. If you want to use STEn magazines, you'll need to have your current magwell whacked off and a STEn grip welded in it's place. STEn mags will not physically fit in your SWD M11/9 magwell. ![]()
